Welcome to The Bubble Bus. We are delighted to share our learning space with your family.
These terms explain how bookings work, what to expect during sessions and how we care for children together. Please read them alongside your completed Booking Schedule and the policies supplied to you before signing.
1. Your agreement and registration
The Bubble Bus is operated by The Little Red Bus SARL (“we” or “us”), at Villa Le Dôme, 4 Rue des Lilas, 98000 Monaco.
You are the parent or legal guardian signing for the child named in the Booking Schedule. Please tell us securely about any restrictions on parental authority or collection. Your agreement comprises these Terms and Conditions, the completed Booking Schedule and the dated policies identified in that schedule. The Booking Schedule records your specific programme, dates, times, prices and applicable cancellation conditions. We will resolve any inconsistency before you agree; mandatory legal rights always apply. Private events and other services require separate written terms.
Before your child attends, please complete the registration, emergency contact, health and authorised collection forms. Your booking is confirmed only when we accept it in writing, receive the required information and receive the payment specified in the Booking Schedule, subject to availability and any agreed support arrangements. You will receive a copy of the completed agreement. Signing does not automatically purchase further sessions or renew a booking.
2. Programmes, attendance and collection
The Bubble Bus offers Tigers Club and Monkeys Club, Monkeys Holiday Club, and workshops for children across the eligible age groups. Each booking specifies the relevant programme and attendance arrangements. Our new 4C Compass Method brings together Calm, Caring, Capable and Creative, with confidence at the centre.
Tigers Club is for children aged 12–35 months and is accompanied: a parent or authorised adult must remain present and supervise their child throughout. Monkeys Club is for children aged 3–5 attending independently. Monkeys Holiday Club also follows the independent-attendance arrangements confirmed for that booking. Workshops welcome children across different age groups; the booking confirmation will say whether an accompanying adult is required. Other group names are used only where relevant to a particular workshop.
For independent sessions, please hand your child directly to a team member and sign them in. Our supervision begins at handover and ends when your child is signed out and handed to an authorised adult. Unbooked siblings and children cannot be left in our care. Club morning sessions run from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm, and afternoon sessions run from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, for both Tigers and Monkeys. Please follow the arrival and collection arrangements in your Booking Schedule. Morning and afternoon bookings are separate sessions; we do not provide lunch or naps, and children must be collected between them. We will discuss settling-in arrangements with you and contact you if your child needs additional reassurance or early collection.
Only adults named on the authorised collection form may collect a child. For a different collector, please give written permission in advance; emergency changes must be verified through our secure process. Collectors must show valid identification when requested. We cannot release a child to someone unauthorised or apparently unable to collect safely.
If delayed, please telephone us promptly. At least one parent or emergency contact must remain reachable during independent attendance. We will continue to supervise an uncollected child and follow our safeguarding procedure, including contacting the relevant authorities if necessary. Repeated or significant delays will be discussed with you.
3. Fees, payments and Bubble Passes
All approved prices are quoted in euros and include VAT. Your Booking Schedule will set out the applicable session or package fees, the annual registration fee, any agreed discounts, the total amount payable, payment method and due dates. We will not add an undisclosed charge or increase the agreed price retrospectively. Monkeys Club requires a minimum booking of two days per week. Tigers Club has no minimum weekly attendance requirement.
The Club registration fee is €500 per child per academic year for Tigers Club and Monkeys Club. It is payable for Club registration, is inclusive of VAT and is non-refundable once the registration is accepted. No annual Club registration fee applies to a booking solely for Monkeys Holiday Club or a standalone workshop.
A Bubble Pass covers the workshops and number of paid and complimentary sessions specified in the Booking Schedule. Any credit arising from a workshop cancellation under clause 4 is valid until the end of the academic year in which the cancelled workshop was booked and may be transferred to another child, subject to availability, age eligibility and advance booking. Bubble Pass validity, use and any separate transfer conditions are recorded in the Booking Schedule.
If payment is late, we will notify you of the outstanding amount and give the agreed opportunity to resolve it before taking any action stated in the Booking Schedule. Any child already attending remains supervised until safely collected.
4. Absences, changes and cancellations
If your child misses a session
Please tell us by 8.30 am if your child will be absent. If a child is unable to attend a booked Tigers Club, Monkeys Club, Holiday Club or workshop session, the missed session is non-refundable and cannot be transferred, rescheduled or credited towards another session. This does not affect the separate workshop cancellation policy below, which provides a transferable credit when at least 24 hours’ written notice is given. Where The Bubble Bus cancels a session, the provisions under “If we change or cancel a session” apply.
If you cancel or change a future booking
For Tigers Club and Monkeys Club term bookings, please give at least four weeks’ written notice before the start of the term you wish to cancel. Where valid notice is received by that deadline, any Club term fees already paid for the cancelled term will be refunded; the annual registration fee remains non-refundable. Club fees are payable in full before the beginning of each term. Once a term has begun, a family’s withdrawal does not entitle them to a refund, alternative sessions, transfer or credit for the remainder of that term because the place has been reserved for the child.
For workshops, please cancel in writing at least 24 hours before the session begins to receive a credit towards a future workshop. The credit is valid until the end of the academic year in which the cancelled workshop was booked and may be transferred to another child, subject to availability and age eligibility. It cannot be exchanged for cash. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed workshops do not qualify for a refund, credit, transfer or replacement session.
If we change or cancel a session
We may adapt activities or change an educator while preserving the essential service booked. If we cancel a workshop, you may choose a refund of the amount paid for that workshop or an available alternative session. If we cancel another booked session, we will offer an available alternative or a refund for the affected session, subject to mandatory legal rights. If we propose a substantial change to the agreed dates, times, location or service, we will explain it, and refund affected services you do not accept. We will not require you to take a credit instead of a refund.
If severe weather, an emergency, official closure or another exceptional event prevents delivery, we will contact you promptly to explain the available alternatives, credits or proportionate refunds. The Booking Schedule will explain how an affected session is valued within a package. Mandatory refund rights remain unaffected.
Statutory rights and withdrawal from eligible distance bookings
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any mandatory rights available to parents or legal guardians under applicable Monaco law. Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies to a booking made at a distance, parents may exercise that right within the period and under the conditions prescribed by applicable Monaco law. Any such right is separate from our ordinary cancellation policies for Club sessions, Holiday Club and workshops. To request withdrawal, please email contact@thebubble-bus.com with your name, booking reference and a clear statement of your request. The applicability, duration, exceptions and any related refund requirements remain subject to Monaco legal review.
5. Health, illness and emergencies
Please share relevant allergies, medical conditions, dietary needs and support requirements securely before attendance, and keep us informed of changes. We will discuss suitable arrangements before confirming participation.
Please keep your child at home when unwell or potentially contagious. In particular, do not bring a child with fever, vomiting, diarrhoea or symptoms of a contagious illness. Please inform us by 8.30 am of an illness-related absence. If a child becomes unwell during a session, we will contact you for prompt collection. Our separately supplied Sickness Policy sets out detailed exclusions and return-to-session requirements, subject to applicable public health guidance.
Our team does not routinely administer prescription or non-prescription medication during sessions. Please do not leave medication in your child’s bag without prior written agreement. Where a child may require essential or emergency medication or medical support, we will review their needs individually with the family before attendance. Any exception must be expressly approved in writing through an individual emergency care arrangement and must be safe, lawful and operationally possible. No exception is authorised merely by disclosing a condition. We will seek urgent assistance when needed and provide first aid within the team’s competence.
In an accident or emergency, we will seek appropriate urgent assistance, provide first aid within the team’s competence and contact you or your emergency contact as soon as practicable. We will not delay urgent assistance while attempting contact. Relevant incidents will be recorded and communicated. This is not blanket consent to medical treatment; clinical decisions remain subject to applicable law and the attending professionals.
6. Everyday arrangements and shared responsibilities
Please send comfortable clothing, a labelled backpack and water bottle, non-slip indoor slippers, a full change of clothes, nappies and wipes where needed, and agreed comfort or care items. Please provide a healthy nut-free snack when required; snacks are not provided. Do not bring peanuts, tree nuts or foods containing nuts. A nut-free policy cannot guarantee the absence of traces.
Please leave personal toys, jewellery and valuables at home. Any toileting or personal care arrangements for independent attendance should be agreed in advance and handled respectfully and privately. Activities involving movement, art and sensory materials carry ordinary everyday risks; we take appropriate precautions and adapt activities to the children.
We guide children with kindness, clear boundaries and respect for feelings. We ask families and accompanying adults to treat children and our team respectfully and follow safety instructions. If additional support is needed, we will discuss reasonable adjustments. An immediate safety concern may require us to pause participation and arrange collection; any longer suspension or ending of a booking will follow an individual assessment, written explanation and applicable refund arrangements.
We take safeguarding concerns seriously and may share necessary information with competent authorities when required or permitted for child protection. We normally communicate openly with families unless this could place a child at risk or compromise protective action.
To protect children’s privacy and respect families’ preferences around screen exposure, mobile phones must not be used in the learning rooms. If a parent or carer needs to make a call, they may use the kitchen. Please do not photograph, film or share images of other children without appropriate permission. Please do not offer team members cash or valuable personal gifts. Thank-you cards and modest gestures of appreciation are welcome, in accordance with our current Gift Policy.
7. Privacy, photographs and communications
The Little Red Bus SARL processes personal information needed for registration, payments, attendance, care, safety and communication. Our separate Privacy Notice explains the purposes, lawful bases, retention, security and applicable rights under Monaco data-protection law. Sensitive information is restricted to those who need it; any additional consent legally required for health information will be requested separately. Questions may be sent to contact@thebubble-bus.com. The applicable privacy framework and notice remain subject to Monaco legal and data-protection review before issue.
We use the Bambin parent app for updates and photographs shared privately with families, subject to the appropriate consent and access settings. Essential booking and safety information may also be sent through the direct channels identified in your Booking Schedule. Optional marketing and group messages require separate choices. Consent for public photographs, videos or publicity is always separate and optional. Refusing it will not affect a child’s place.
8. Concerns, responsibility and changes to these terms
If you have a concern, please speak with the team or email contact@thebubble-bus.com for the manager’s attention. We will consider and respond under the Complaints Procedure supplied to you.
We remain responsible for the agreed services and the care required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or removes your child’s mandatory rights. Loss or damage to belongings will be assessed in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law. Monaco law governs this agreement, subject to any mandatory protections that apply. Disputes may be heard by courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. If a clause is invalid, the remaining clauses continue where they can operate independently. We will notify families of any proposed changes. Existing bookings remain subject to their accepted commercial terms unless a lawful change is agreed. Necessary safety or legal updates will be explained promptly. Further bookings require acceptance of the then-current terms and prices.
