What is The Bubble Bus?
The Bubble Bus is a boutique learning hub in Monaco offering an alternative path to early education. We provide thoughtfully designed programmes for children aged 6 months to 10 years, focusing on movement, arts, and intellectual growth in a cosy, home-like environment.
Who can attend The Bubble Bus?
We welcome children aged 6 months to 8 years, depending on the group:
Koalas: 6–12 months
Pandas: 12–18 months
Tigers: 18–36 months
Monkeys: 3–5 years
Holiday Clubs & some workshops: up to 8 years
Do I need to attend with my child?
Yes – for babies under 18 months (Koalas & Pandas), sessions are parent–child.
No – Tigers and Monkeys (18 months+) attend independently.
Is The Bubble Bus a school or a Nursery?
We are not a nursery or school. We are a learning hub and children’s club offering alternative, play-based education focused on creativity, movement and exploration.The Bubble Bus offers a safe, small-scale environment inspired by alternative methodologies such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Forest School. Every child is seen as an individual, and our approach balances learning with creativity, movement, and emotional growth.
What languages are spoken?
Our main language of communication is English. Some sessions also include soft French immersion, and our staff speak multiple languages.
Programmes & Activities
What are “adventures”?
Adventures are our signature small-group sessions, combining exploration, creativity and movement.
Each month has a theme (e.g. Emotional Regulation, Gratitude, Back to School/Brain Development) and each week includes: Arts & crafts, Cooking, STEM & sensory discovery, Storytelling & music, Motricity
What types of programmes do you offer?
We offer small-group, play-based programmes for children aged 6 months to 8 years.
Our 2025/2026 schedule includes:
Adventures for Tigers & Monkeys (creative, sensory and themed exploration)
Baby sessions for Koalas & Pandas (Motor Play, Sensory Play with parent)
Language clubs (Bonjour Club & English Club)
Creative workshops (Cooking, Arts & Crafts)
Free Play sessions
Saturday activities (Kickboxing for kids & parents, Mamas Stretch & Tone)
Do you run holiday clubs?
Yes! We offer themed Holiday Clubs during school breaks (e.g. Enchanted Garden in spring, Ocean of Wonders in summer). Activities mix crafts, cooking, cultural discovery and indoor fun.
How big are the groups?
Group sizes are intentionally small to ensure every child receives individual attention and feels part of a close community.
Do parents stay during the sessions?
Under 18 months: Yes, a parent or carer stays with the child.
Over 18 months: Children attend independently with the support of our experienced staff. We also offer duo sessions (e.g. kickboxing, cooking, art & craft) where a parent and child participate together.
Do you provide food?
No, we ask families to bring a small, healthy snack. Please avoid nuts, as we have severe allergies on site. We do not provide lunch or nap-time facilities.
Do you offer nap time ?
No, our space is not designed to welcome children during nap time.
What if my child doesn’t nap?
Our afternoon programme (2–4pm) is ideal for children who have outgrown naps.
Morning and afternoon sessions can be combined for a full-day adventure.
What should my child bring?
A labelled backpack with: change of clothes, water bottle, hat/raincoat, nappies if needed.
A healthy snack (fruit, yoghurt, rice cakes, etc.) – no nuts due to allergies.
We do not provide lunch or naps.
A term calendar with all session dates and closures is provided.
How do I book a place?

How do you handle adaptation and separation anxiety?
We provide a gentle adaptation period at the start of each term.
Parents may stay briefly while children settle, and our educators work closely with families to ensure a positive transition.
Do you offer show-arounds before enrolling?
Yes! We’re always happy to welcome families for a short visit before starting. This is mandatory to join the Adventures programme. A show-around lets you meet our team, see the space, and ask any questions about our programmes. Do you offer trial sessions?
No, we don’t. We have workshops for parents and children to see the place and experience the Bubble Bus expertise.
Can I book ad hoc sessions?
Our core programme runs by term, but extra afternoon workshops or Bubble Pass drop-ins may be available subject to space.
Do you have Open Days?
We organise Open Days through the academic year.
Who leads the sessions?
Our team consists of qualified early years specialists with international experience. They bring expertise in alternative methodologies and are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment.
What qualifications do staff have?
Our team includes: Early-years educators, Creative arts specialists, Movement teachers
All are experienced and passionate about young children’s development.
How do you ensure safety and safeguarding?
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. All staff are trained in child protection and first aid, and our policies follow best practices in safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety. Parents receive clear guidelines when joining.
How do you ensure hygiene ?
We are following Strict hygiene protocols and we have a dedicated cleaning team coming every day. All our toys and equipment are regularly disinfected.
Can I stay on site while my child attends?
There are duos sessions dedicated for parents & children to do activities together. For further information please refer to our timetable.
Do you accept children with additional needs?
Yes, we welcome children with a wide range of abilities. We encourage families to share any specific needs with us so we can best support their child.
How do payments work?
Payments can be made by bank transfer or Monaco’s chèque. We also accept cash amounts under 500 EUR. We offer single sessions, packs of sessions, and termly enrolment options. Full details are provided upon registration.
Do you offer memberships or discounts?
Yes, we have a membership that includes freeplay sessions, discounted rates and preferential booking.
What should I do if my child is unwell?
Children who are unwell, contagious, or showing symptoms should stay at home to rest. Please notify us if your child cannot attend a session.

Can I get a refund for missed sessions?
Refunds are not provided for absences.
We may offer a make-up session within the same term, subject to availability.

What are the pick-up and drop-off rules?
Only authorised adults can collect children.
An ID may be requested at pick-up.
Can I bring a gift for the team?
We love cards, drawings or homemade treats.
Please avoid high-value or personal gifts (see our Gift Policy).
Do you have a waiting list?
Yes. If a session or programme is full, you can join our waiting list and we will contact you as soon as a place becomes available.

Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
The Bubble Bus offers alternative early education programmes and workshops in Monaco for children aged 6 months to 8 years. By enrolling your child or using our website, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.
Our alternative education approach combines creative play, movement, and hands-on exploration, drawing inspiration from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and other whole-child, developmentally informed methods.
2. Registration & Attendance
Registration is completed online or in person, depending on the type of session.
A show-around visit will be requested before enrolment in regular programmes.
Attendance is confirmed once payment has been received.
Families must inform us in advance if their child will be absent.
3. Fees & Payments
Fees must be paid in advance. Our prices and packages are available on the website.
Annual registration and membership fees are non-refundable.
Missed sessions are not refunded, except where eligible under our Refund Policy.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
We do not offer refunds for missed sessions due to illness or holidays.
We may offer a make-up session during the same term, subject to availability.
If The Bubble Bus cancels a session, you will be offered a refund, credit, or alternative date.
Families will be notified of cancellations via email and/or the bubble bus App.
5. Illness
Children with a fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, or contagious symptoms must stay at home.
Parents will be contacted if a child becomes unwell during a session.
Children may return when they are fully recovered. A doctor’s note may be requested.
6. Safety & Supervision
Children are supervised by qualified staff at all times. Children under 18 months must always be accompanied by a parent or carer during sessions. Children over 18 months attend independently and are supported by qualified team members throughout their time with us.
Drop-off and pick-up must be done by authorised adults. Identification will be requested.
Our venue is secured and regularly inspected for hazards.
7. Behaviour & Expectations
We encourage respectful, safe, and cooperative behaviour.
Persistent or harmful behaviour may result in temporary suspension from sessions.
Parents will be informed of any incidents, and strategies will be agreed upon together.
8. Personal Items
Please label all belongings.
The Bubble Bus is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
We collect and store personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Confidentiality is respected in all matters related to your child.
